Earlier reports indicated a death toll of 52 with 154 injured following specific Israeli airstrikes on residential apartments in Beirut's southern suburb of Al-Jannah and widespread bombardment in the Beqaa region. Another report from May 31 stated cumulative casualties from March 2 to May 30 reached 3,371 martyrs and 10,129 wounded, with 16 individuals killed in the 24 hours prior to that announcement due to intense Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Sayed noted that 171 shelters have been established, currently housing approximately 29,000 displaced individuals.
