In response to the Monday attack, Israeli troops launched a wave of raids across Palestinian towns northwest of Jerusalem. Properties were stormed, relatives detained, and dozens of residents questioned. Local officials described the raids as "relentless," with soldiers withdrawing and returning repeatedly under a tight military cordon. Homes were reportedly ransacked, and families subjected to teargas and sound grenades.
