Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli drone attack north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to the Wafa news agency. The attack occurred in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, where an Israeli military drone targeted a group of Palestinians inspecting their damaged homes. Al-Jazeera confirmed the drone strike, identifying one of the slain Palestinians as Saqer Anwar Qdeih and noting that some of the four injured were in critical condition.
Simultaneously, Israeli military vehicles reportedly opened sustained machine-gun fire toward eastern Khan Younis, and Israeli warships shelled the coast of Rafah. The Health Ministry in Gaza announced its decision to bury the bodies of 41 unidentified Palestinian victims in a mass grave, handed over by Israel as part of a ceasefire agreement.
