The funeral procession for Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei began in Tehran on Monday, with state media reporting millions in attendance. The procession is expected to last between 10 to 12 hours, with subsequent ceremonies planned in Qom, Iraq, and Mashhad.
As part of the funeral arrangements, Tehran's airspace was closed. In southern Lebanon, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that some Christian villages had requested annexation to Israel for protection from Hezbollah.
