Iran's military and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed on Thursday to have carried out coordinated drone and missile attacks on multiple US military sites in Kuwait and Jordan. The Iranian army stated it conducted attacks against "strategic US centres" in Kuwait, including fighter jet shelters, satellite communication systems, and equipment warehouses at Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base. In a separate statement, the IRGC claimed to have launched strikes on Ali Al Salem Air Base, Camp Udairi, and a telecommunications tower in Kuwait, while Iran's regular army asserted it targeted Camp Doha, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and Camp Arifjan.
The IRGC also claimed responsibility for attacks on US military assets in Jordan, including a THAAD missile defence system radar, a Patriot air defence system, a C-RAM radar, and a helicopter hangar at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base and Al-Azraq Base. The IRGC further asserted it destroyed at least two US fighter aircraft and three other aircraft during an attack on the Al Azraq base.
