A team from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) arrived in Kozhikode on Saturday following the confirmation of a Nipah virus case in the district. Officials reported that tests conducted on three close relatives of the patient yielded negative results. The ICMR team met with Revenue Minister A P Anil Kumar, who is overseeing the district's response, and engaged in discussions with doctors and district administration officials regarding the Nipah case and ongoing preventive measures.
