Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it conducted drone and missile attacks on US assets, including the Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, an airbase in Jordan, and targets in Kuwait, in response to earlier US strikes on southern Iran. The IRGC stated that sites hit included F-35 fighter jet hangars and a command and control center in Jordan. The US military's Central Command confirmed carrying out "self-defence strikes" against Iran in retaliation for the downing of a US helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz. Jordan's military reported its air defence systems intercepted five missiles launched from Iran over the Azraq area. Meanwhile, Israel issued forced displacement orders for residents of the Lebanese village of Ansarieh, calling on them to move north of the Zahrani River before an imminent attack.
