The World Health Organization (WHO) has significantly reduced the number of suspected Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This revision follows an earlier estimate that suggested nearly 1,000 suspected cases. The updated figures were communicated during a hybrid press briefing attended by representatives from the WHO and the United Nations Population Fund International Organization on Migration.
