White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has indicated that the upcoming 60 days will be challenging, while also characterizing the agreement between the US and Iran as a significant positive step. Wiles, described as the most powerful person in President Donald Trump's White House apart from the president himself, shared insights into the administration's operations and priorities.
Wiles offered candid observations on the personalities within Trump's inner circle, referring to the president's personality as having "an alcoholic's personality." She also commented on Vice President JD Vance's political trajectory, describing his shift from a "Never Trumper" to a MAGA supporter as "sort of political," and labeled Vance as "a conspiracy theorist for a decade." Russell Vought, head of the Office of Management and Budget and architect of Project 2025, was characterized as "a right-wing absolute zealot."
According to Wiles, the administration has been actively expanding presidential power, unilaterally declaring war on drug cartels, imposing tariffs, and sealing the southern border. The administration's priorities include leading in AI, growing the economy, strengthening national security, reforming government, improving healthcare, securing the border, unleashing American energy, and supporting public safety.
