Timberland REIT, a newly formed entity resulting from the merger of Rayonier Inc. and PotlatchDeltic Corp., has selected Terminus 100 in Buckhead, Atlanta, for its new headquarters. The company signed a lease for approximately 36,000 square feet in the 27-story, 590,000-square-foot office tower, with plans to open the new headquarters in the first quarter of 2027. This move consolidates operations following the January merger, which brought together nearly 850,000 acres of forested land under combined control. Rayonier is relocating from Florida, while PotlatchDeltic was previously based in Spokane, Washington.
Mark McHugh, CEO of Rayonier, stated that the new headquarters will establish a strategic hub in the U.S. South, leveraging a thriving business ecosystem and proximity to the company's landholdings. The deal was brokered by Jeff Dils and Cameron Bloodworth of Cousins Properties for the landlord, with JLL's Ryanne Pennington and Brennan Koslow representing Rayonier.
