Stecklein, a veteran defender and four-time U.S. Olympian, agreed to a two-year deal, while forward Zumwinkle, a two-time Olympian and the league's 2024 rookie of the year, signed for three years. Stecklein, 32, is considered one of women's hockey's top shutdown defenders and is a two-time Walter Cup champion. She is entering her fourth season with the Frost. Zumwinkle, 27, finished last season tied for fifth in the league with a career-best 13 goals and tied for fifth with a career-best 23 points.
