The National Core Indicators (NCI) initiative, a collaboration between the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) and the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services (NASDDDS), has released a new Family Survey. This survey provides comprehensive national data on the experiences of families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with publicly funded state services. The findings highlight areas where these services are succeeding and identify opportunities for enhancement. The goal of this data release is to inform improvements and strengthen the supports available to people with IDD and their families across state-run programs.
