A series of artificial intelligence-generated images purporting to show pop star Dua Lipa celebrating her wedding in Palermo, Sicily, have circulated widely online, misleading some social media users and even digital media outlets. Rick Dick, known for his satirical AI content, initially shared the pictures with the hashtag #ai. He told Euronews' fact-checking team, The Cube, that he was surprised by the reaction and found it amusing that some people believed the images were real, especially as several were intentionally absurd.
