The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has announced an update to its register of entities authorized under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. Twelve new companies have been added to the register, signifying their successful authorization as crypto-asset service providers (CASPs). This brings the cumulative total of authorized CASPs to 321. Alongside these new authorizations, ESMA has also identified and added three additional entities to its non-compliant register. These companies have not met the required regulatory standards set forth by MiCA, highlighting ongoing efforts by ESMA to ensure compliance within the European crypto market.
