The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has released its fourth update to the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) register since the July 1 transitional deadline, adding 12 new companies. This update, published on July 31, increases the total number of authorized crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) under MiCA to 321.

Among the newly authorized entities are three German cooperative banks: Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Oberbayern Südost, VR Bank Schleswig-Holstein Mitte, and VR-Bank Landau-Mengkofen. Spain saw two additions, Basque Pay and Fintech Payments, while France added four companies: Finary, Woorton, Blockchain Process Security, and Shares Financial Assets.

In addition to the authorized providers, ESMA also added three entities to its non-compliant register: Cervo Rendisco, Flandenzo, and Corona Fondenza, which were flagged by Italy's Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB). This brings the total number of entities on the non-compliant register to 167.

The latest update did not alter the numbers for other MiCA-related registers. The count of authorized e-money token (EMT) issuers remains at 41, and there are currently no listed asset-referenced token (ART) issuers.
