Jordan Bardella to address Nigel Farage’s Reform UK conference

Farage expressed his pleasure in welcoming Bardella, describing him as a representative of a new generation of political leaders committed to their countries, borders, and people. Bardella, considered a political star in France, is expected to play a key role in Marine Le Pen's strategy for the 2027 French presidential election.

Bardella and Farage have previously met, with Bardella telling the BBC last December that he believed Farage would become Britain's next prime minister. Farage indicated that he looks forward to discussing enhanced cooperation between France and Britain to address the issue of small boat crossings in the English Channel. Bardella has supported increased police cooperation between London and Paris but advocates for returning migrants to their countries of origin.

Bardella's appearance follows similar addresses by other right-wing political figures at previous Reform UK conferences, including former Finnish Deputy Prime Minister Timo Soini in 2024 and Reform Party of Canada founder Preston Manning in 2025. Farage is currently involved in a by-election in Clacton.
