The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has launched its AI Hub, a centralized platform designed to foster the growth of an agentic economy on the network. This development coincides with a significant milestone for the XRPL, which has now processed over one million agentic payments through the x402 protocol.
The XRPL AI Hub, announced by Ripple-backed t54.ai, aims to provide a unified destination for AI projects, agents, tools, and payment services operating on the XRPL. The platform is structured into three core areas: an index for live X402 payment activity, comprehensive developer resources including SDKs and repositories, and a directory listing AI projects, agents, services, and merchants active on the ledger.
t54.ai stated that the hub's creation is intended to make the XRPL AI ecosystem more accessible for discovery, navigation, and development. The initiative was launched with the support of Ripple developers and the XRPL Foundation. This launch follows Ripple's recent introduction of an AI starter kit that enables AI agents to conduct payments using XRP and RLUSD on the network, with XRPL now integrated into the X402 protocol.
The XRP Ledger Foundation celebrated the network's achievement of surpassing one million agentic payments, encouraging further development. An XRPL validator noted the network's suitability for AI needs, citing its low-cost infrastructure, predictable fees, readily available XRP asset, and censorship-resistant decentralized exchange.
