US spot Bitcoin ETFs have experienced a significant five-day streak of net inflows, accumulating approximately $727 million in total. This marks the first such sustained buying period since late April, indicating a potential resurgence in institutional demand for the digital asset. On July 20 alone, these ETFs saw inflows of about $227 million, while Ether ETFs added approximately $38 million, with BlackRock's ETHA being a notable contributor. The consistent inflow trend has boosted total Bitcoin ETF assets to around $79 billion, recovering from a recent low near $75 billion. Bitcoin itself traded near $65,879, up 3.3% over the past 24 hours, with the return of ETF demand providing a boost after a period of outflows. This sustained demand is seen as a stronger signal of institutional conviction than single-day spikes. Major financial institutions like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs have also been increasing client access and allocations to Bitcoin ETFs. While BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) continues to lead in attracting capital, other funds like Fidelity's FBTC also see substantial inflows, though Grayscale's GBTC often experiences outflows. The total assets held by spot Bitcoin ETFs now represent a significant portion of Bitcoin's overall market capitalization.
