Anton Bukov, a co-founder of the decentralized exchange aggregator 1inch, has announced his complete exit from the company's operational roles after more than seven years. In a social media post, Bukov stated he was "fired" in November 2025 following his efforts to implement changes in the company's management and operational structure. He also clarified that he no longer participates in the company's operations, product architecture, security, or oversight.
Contradictory statements have emerged regarding Bukov's role. While Bukov asserts he was fired, 1inch released its own statement indicating that the co-founder had not been actively involved in any associated organizations since December 2025. Despite his operational departure, Bukov confirmed he retains co-founder status and a 50% ownership stake in 1inch.
