Indian fertilizer importer National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) is likely to have purchased two 30,000-tonne diammonium phosphate (DAP) cargoes from trading firm Midgulf International. The sale is estimated to be in the high $920s/t cfr with credit, equivalent to the mid-$910s/tcfr sight.
NFL's tender, which closed on August 11, received four offers from trading firms Ameropa, Oasis Global, Agrifields, and Midgulf. The tender requested two DAP cargoes for shipment to the west coast of India by August 31. The origin of the cargoes could not be confirmed.
Meanwhile, fellow importer Fact closed its tender for 50,000 tonnes of DAP on August 18, after delaying the deadline by a day. Fact received four offers for DAP, also for shipment by August 31. The offers included Moroccan DAP from OCP, US DAP from VB Venture, Russian DAP from Oasis Global, and open-origin DAP from Ameropa.
