The ammonia is intended for delivery to Kochi port over a one-year period, with suppliers required to offer monthly lots of 8,000 tons, with a 5% flexibility margin. Suppliers must offer at least one 8,000-ton lot. Pricing offers are to be submitted on a formula basis, referencing the four-week average midpoint of Argus' Middle East Free on Board (Fob) assessment, with a variable premium or discount applied. The deadline for offers is July 9 at 14:00 IST (08:30 GMT), with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 14:30 IST. Argus last assessed delivered prices to India at a midpoint of $760 per ton cfr (cost and freight) on June 25, while loading prices from the Middle East were assessed at $700 per ton fob (free on board).
