The Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) has initiated a tender to procure 15,000 metric tons of crushed lump sulphur. The tender, which opened on July 6, has a closing date of September 7. Successful bidders will be required to deliver the sulphur to Chattogram within 30 days of the letter of credit being opened.
This is not the first time BCIC has sought sulphur. The firm previously issued a tender for the same quantity in April, but it is understood that no contract was awarded from that solicitation.
