Kuok Hui Kwong, Chairman and CEO of Shangri-La Group, has advised Hong Kong's tourism sector to capitalize more on its traditional festivals and cultural heritage to bolster its appeal to international visitors. Speaking to the South China Morning Post, Kuok, daughter of Malaysian tycoon Robert Kuok, acknowledged Hong Kong's success in attracting tourists post-Covid-19 but emphasized the need to further tap into its "cultural foundation" amidst intense global competition.
