Keystone Cooperative has announced Scott Logue as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective upon the retirement of Kevin Still on September 1. Still is retiring after a 42-year career with the cooperative.
Logue, who currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, brings more than 29 years of cooperative leadership experience. He was raised on an Indiana farm and is a graduate of Ball State University. Previously, he was CEO of Harvest Land Cooperative before it merged to become part of Keystone.
Keystone Cooperative is a large agricultural cooperative serving approximately 20,000 farmer-owners across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois, with 245 locations and nearly 2,000 employees. Its business divisions include energy, agronomy, grain, swine, and animal nutrition.
The selection followed a rigorous search process by the Board of Directors. Bill Peters, Chairman of the Board, expressed confidence in Logue's ability to maintain the cooperative's values and farmer-first commitment. Jeremy Mills, Vice Chair of the Board, highlighted Logue's role in advancing the cooperative's vision for growth and sustainability.
Logue stated his honor in stepping into the role and emphasized Keystone's strength in its people, membership, and commitment to agriculture's future. He looks forward to driving innovation and supporting family farms. A formal introduction will occur at Keystone's Co-op Classic event on August 20 in Circleville, Indiana, where Logue will speak at 8:15 a.m. ET.
