Peacock is implementing price increases across all of its streaming subscription tiers. The ad-supported "Select" plan will rise from $7.99 to $8.99 per month, while the "Premium" tier will go from $10.99 to $12.99 per month. The ad-free "Premium Plus" plan will see its price increase from $16.99 to $19.99 per month.
These new prices will be effective August 18 for new and returning subscribers. Existing customers will be charged the higher rates on their billing dates after September 17. The company stated that these adjustments will allow Peacock to continue enhancing its viewer experience, maintain market competitiveness, and deliver diverse content.
Subscribers on annual plans or those with active promotional offers will maintain their current rates until their respective plans or promotions conclude. In recent months, Peacock has introduced new features, including an AI-powered vertical-video feed called "Bravoverse" and an upcoming feature for streaming live games in a vertical format with AI-driven cropping optimized for mobile devices. The service also launched two AI-powered mystery games.
Last month, NBCUniversal announced a partnership that will bring Peacock's Premium plan to YouTube Premium subscribers in the U.S. starting in early 2027. The streaming service, launched in 2020, recently achieved its first profitable quarter, reporting 48 million subscribers, boosted by events like the NBA playoffs and the FIFA World Cup. This latest price adjustment marks the fourth increase for Peacock in four years.
