The duo is launching Cantera Home Lending, which will operate on NAF's independent mortgage platform. Masterman and Johnson bring a combined career volume exceeding $2 billion and nearly 50 years of industry experience.
According to the inaugural HousingWire Mortgage Rankings, Masterman originated $69.14 million across 83 loans in 2025, while Johnson originated $55.36 million across 110 loans in the same year. Cantera Home Lending will provide a wide array of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, portfolio, construction, renovation, reverse, and specialty loans.
