HomeServices of America has appointed Gretchen Rosenberg to the newly created and expanded position of vice president of industry affairs and engagement. Rosenberg, who brings nearly three decades of experience in the real estate sector, will be responsible for representing the HomeServices enterprise on a national level. Her duties will include managing relationships with various trade groups and industry peers, as well as monitoring regulatory and competitive developments impacting the company's brokerage, mortgage, title, and franchising businesses.
In her new capacity, Rosenberg is tasked with leading initiatives aimed at enhancing agent and consumer engagement, identifying scalable innovative practices across operating companies, and fostering collaboration within the HomeServices network. Chris Kelly, president and CEO of HomeServices of America, stated that Rosenberg's strategic leadership and deep understanding of the industry make her well-suited for the role, expecting her to strengthen industry relationships and improve network alignment.
Rosenberg's career has been primarily with Denver-based Kentwood Real Estate, a HomeServices company, where she began as an agent and rose to president and CEO in 2018. Her transition to HomeServices of America necessitates a leadership shift at Kentwood Real Estate. Dierk Herbermann, formerly chief operating officer, has been appointed president, bringing extensive brokerage management, sales, and legal experience. Amy Herrington has been promoted from director of agent services to director of operations. Both Herbermann and Herrington will manage the day-to-day operations and growth of Kentwood.
