First Milling Company has announced the commencement of commercial operations at its new flour mill located at its Qassim branch, effective August 2, 2026. This development follows the company's receipt of the final operating license from the General Food Security Authority (GFSA).
The new mill is designed with a daily milling capacity of 600 metric tons, which translates to approximately 201,000 metric tons annually. This significant addition raises the total milling capacity at the Al-Qassim Plant to 1,500 metric tons per day.
First Mills anticipates that this expansion will enhance its overall production capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen its ability to meet growing market demand. The company also expects the new facility to support its strategic expansion into promising geographical markets.
