Fan Hua has received approval from China's financial regulator to return as the general manager of BlackRock Inc.'s wealth management joint venture. She previously occupied this position from late 2022 until early 2024.
Following her tenure as general manager, Fan was promoted to lead BlackRock's operations in China and chair BlackRock Fund Management Co. Ltd. She temporarily reassumed the general manager responsibilities after Zhang Pengjun, her successor, departed the company in February for personal reasons.
The National Financial Regulatory Administration Shanghai Bureau officially sanctioned her reappointment on June 5.
