Airlines are set to introduce a range of new flight routes connecting various European cities with destinations across North America, Asia, Africa, and Australia for the autumn and winter seasons of 2026. These new services aim to cater to travelers seeking off-peak travel options, often characterized by milder climates, fewer crowds, and potentially lower fares.
Air Canada will commence non-stop flights from Toronto and Montreal to Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, starting in late October. The Toronto service will operate twice weekly, while the Montreal route will run weekly.
Air France is set to resume its seasonal service to the Maldives from Paris Charles de Gaulle in mid-December, operating twice weekly until March 2027. The airline will also increase its frequency to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic to three times a week.
