This ranking, published by the New Voice of Ukraine (NV) newspaper, highlights the crucial role of the food industry and agricultural exports in generating foreign currency inflows for Ukraine. According to projections from the US Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service, Ukraine is expected to export 36 million tonnes of wheat and corn during the 2025-26 marketing year. This figure, while substantial, remains below the pre-invasion high of 44 million tonnes exported in the 2021-22 marketing year.
The 30 largest exporters collectively generated approximately UAH635 billion in revenue from international markets, representing nearly 40% of Ukraine's total commodity exports.
