The combined sales reached 131,032 units, marking a significant 41.8% increase from the 92,365 units sold in the preceding half-year period. This growth reflects the automakers' intensified efforts to expand their presence in the European market, where demand for eco-friendly vehicles remains robust.
Kia's EV3 compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) emerged as the bestselling model, with 27,121 units sold. It was followed by Hyundai's Inster subcompact SUV, which sold 16,594 units, and Kia's EV4 sedan, with 14,502 units sold.
