A widening anti-graft probe, initiated by a fatal fireworks factory explosion in China, has led to the investigation of at least seven individuals in the past month. The latest to surrender to authorities were Li Dajian, former head of the Hunan Provincial Department of Emergency Management, and Jiang Zhou, director of the department’s fireworks-safety supervision division. The provincial disciplinary watchdog announced their surrender on Thursday.
