T-Mobile has recently updated its least expensive 5G home internet offering, the Rely Home Internet plan, by implementing an artificial cap on data speeds for new customers. Previously, this plan advertised download speeds typically ranging from 170 to 498 mbps, depending on the subscriber's location. However, the plan is now rated to offer speeds up to a maximum of 354 mbps. This change means that new subscribers in areas that previously benefited from higher speeds are now receiving a less favorable deal. Concurrently, T-Mobile has also increased the prices for its 5G home internet plans.
