Technology firms Oracle and Quantinuum announced a multi-year partnership Tuesday to integrate quantum computing capabilities into Oracle's cloud platform. The collaboration aims to allow Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers to access Quantinuum's Helios quantum computer, combining it with Oracle's graphics-processing and high-performance computing services.
Helios, which was commercially launched in November, will be deployed within an Oracle AI data center in the U.S. and is expected to integrate with existing Oracle services under current customer governance. The companies stated their intention to explore how hybrid quantum-AI infrastructure can address complex computational challenges for enterprises and broaden access for academic and research institutions.
