OpenAI is set to launch its most advanced AI model, GPT-5.6, on Thursday, a release delayed by US government concerns over national security risks associated with powerful AI systems. The company offers GPT-5.5 through four plans, with Pro being the highest tier.
Meta has introduced Muse Image, its first AI image-generation model, which can create and edit images using text prompts and public Instagram posts as reference material. Users must opt out to prevent their content from being used, and will not be notified when their content is used.
