A phase 2 study of Novo Nordisk's investigational drug, zenagamtide, revealed significant improvements in blood sugar control for adults with type 2 diabetes. The once-weekly subcutaneous treatment resulted in statistically significant reductions in A1C levels compared to placebo. Notably, up to 89.1% of participants receiving zenagamtide achieved an A1C level below 7%.
