The Indian logistics market, currently valued at $228 billion in 2024, is expected to nearly double to $428.7 billion by 2033. This expansion is being fueled by rapid digitalization, evolving delivery models, infrastructure modernization, and supportive government policies.
The survey, which polled 1,000 professionals across various industries, found that drones are increasingly becoming essential for next-generation supply chains and sustainable business operations, extending beyond their traditional use in national security.
Key drivers for drone adoption include the combined demands of security and logistics, cited by 38% of respondents, and the need for faster, more sustainable delivery solutions, mentioned by 27%. A majority of those surveyed (54%) believe that current industry trends will further accelerate the integration of drones in logistics, homeland security, and clean technology applications.
