Shanghai AutoFlight Co. Ltd., a Chinese electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft developer, has secured airworthiness certification in Indonesia for its V2000CG cargo drone. This achievement represents the first time a Chinese eVTOL aircraft has received regulatory approval from an overseas authority.
The Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) granted the Validated Type Certificate for the V2000CG on June 3, following a review process that commenced in July 2025.
