The Abu Dhabi government is accelerating its efforts to adopt Chinese technologies across various sectors, including renewable energy, electric vehicles (EVs), and robotics, as part of its strategy to develop a greener economy. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, revealed that his department is engaged in discussions with 22 Chinese firms, such as Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL), following a recent visit to Shanghai. The aim is to foster deeper collaborations with Chinese industry leaders to support infrastructure development in the UAE capital.
