Two men have been charged with attempted murder following an alleged attack on Urfan Sharif, the father of murdered schoolgirl Sara Sharif, inside HMP Belmarsh on New Year's Day last year. Steven Sansom, 47, and Adam Watson, 39, are accused of attempting to kill Sharif, who was convicted in 2024 of his daughter's murder.
