Separately, a Gallup poll reported Trump's job approval rating at 36%, with disapproval at 60%, marking the lowest point of his second term. This decline followed three months of stability. Ratings among both Republicans and independents have worsened significantly, with independents' approval reaching its lowest point in either of Trump's terms.
On specific issues, the Gallup poll found Trump rated most positively on crime (43%), foreign affairs (41%), foreign trade (39%), and immigration (37%). His ratings on the economy, the Middle East situation, the federal budget, Ukraine, and healthcare policy were at or below his overall job rating.
Meanwhile, 80 percent of Americans expect continued U.S. involvement in Iran, following the expiration of an interim ceasefire and Trump's decision not to extend the deal.
