Authorities are conducting an intensive manhunt for Francisco Oropesa, a 38-year-old Mexican national, who is accused of fatally shooting five neighbors in Cleveland, Texas. The incident occurred after neighbors asked Oropesa to stop firing a semi-automatic rifle in his front yard because it was disturbing their baby. Oropesa allegedly responded that he would "do what I want to in my front yard." Deputies responding to a harassment call discovered the five victims, who were shot execution-style. The victims have been identified as Sonia Argentina Guzman, 25; Diana Velazquez Alvarado, 21; Julisa Molina Rivera, 31; Jose Jonathan Casarez, 18; and Daniel Enrique Laso Guzman, 8. Three minors were found uninjured but covered in blood at the scene. Oropesa has a history of prior deportations, having been removed from the U.S. four times, most recently in July 2016. He also had a prior conviction for driving while intoxicated in 2012. The FBI's Houston field office stated they are analyzing "hundreds of pieces of information" and have "zero leads" on Oropesa's whereabouts, describing him as a threat to the community. A total reward of $100,000 has been offered for information leading to his capture, with contributions from the FBI, U.S. Marshals, the state, and Multi-County Crime Stoppers.
