Governor Gavin Newsom has appointed Scott Galloway, an entrepreneur and influential podcaster, to a seat on the University of California’s Board of Regents. If confirmed, Galloway will join the 26-member board that oversees the 10-campus UC system, which serves approximately 300,000 students.
Galloway, a Democrat, is known for co-hosting a popular tech and business podcast with Kara Swisher.
