The survey of 1,017 individuals found that only 19% of respondents had a favorable view of Israel, compared to 24% for China. The United Kingdom received the highest favorability rating at 53%, followed by "European nations" at 47% and Ukraine at 41%. Conversely, Iran and Russia garnered the lowest favorability ratings at 11% and 13% respectively, with both also receiving the highest percentage of negative attitudes at 57% each. Israel followed with 46% negative perception.
The poll also highlighted demographic differences in perceptions of Israel, with women and individuals aged 35 to 54 exhibiting the least positive views. Similarly, perceptions of US President Donald Trump have declined among Australians, with only 28% holding favorable views, down from 36% in June 2024.
