Its AI server backlog nearly doubled in a single quarter and its guidance for that business has gone from low double digit growth to triple digits in six months. Which produces the odd situation at the heart of this. A customer's report arguably gave the market more forward visibility on the chipmaker than the chipmaker's own earnings did last week.
