‘Won’t learn’: Abbott gives a scathing review of the Bondi Royal Commission

Former prime minister Tony Abbott discusses the Royal Commission into Antisemitism, criticising that no ministers have been called into question. “The whole point of the royal commission is to ensure that something like the Bondi massacre never happens again,” Mr Abbott told News24 host Peta Credlin. “We can’t learn the right lessons if you don’t call the relevant ministers, if you don’t call the relevant security officials, if you don’t expose the Islamist hate preachers. “You won’t learn the right lessons from senior counter terrorist police talking about the deficiencies and the gaps in our counter terrorism programs.”
