‘When Labor runs out of money, they come after yours’: Taylor attacks $1 trillion debt

Liberal Leader Angus Taylor warns Australians will ultimately pay the price for the Albanese government’s spending as national debt reaches the staggering $1 trillion mark. “It’s completely unfair,” Mr Taylor told News24 host Jaimee Rogers. “A trillion is a huge number; it’s twelve zeros, that’s a lot of zeros. “That’s around $100,000 for every family, every household in Australia, that has to be paid back. “It keeps growing; the government was trying to sweep it under the carpet. “They want to keep spending, and of course when Labor runs out of money they come after yours.”
