‘We should be worried’: Defence expert sounds alarm over taxpayer-funded research

News24 Defence Analyst Peter Jennings warns the Albanese Government has failed to take seriously the risk of Australian taxpayer money funding research collaborations with scientists linked to hostile foreign regimes. “We should be worried about it,” Mr Jennings told News24 host James Macpherson. “This is an old problem. “It’s really high time the government took this more seriously.”
