Warning issued over lack of electric vehicle regulation

​Motoring journalist Paul Gover discusses Australia's reluctance to regulate the electric vehicle market. ​“We’re talking about a battery pack that can weigh up to 400 kilos. So…a combustion car against a battery electric car, the battery electric car can weigh 400 kilos heavier,” Ms Gover told News24 host Steve Price. ​“Even fairly small electric cars…it is significantly heavier. ​“There is no doubt over time they’ll do more damage to the road.”
